That's why when developing a product, we research and test raw materials to find the best as well as test different methods of manufacturing that impact the performance and sound quality.

Copper is the most important raw material for audio cables. However, there are different specifications. Copper Clad Aluminium (CCA) is an inexpensive raw material that may be used in other manufacturer cables which is only about 60% as conductive as the Copper used in CORE's audio cables. Being only ~60% conductive, there will be high cable resistance to the impedance of the speakers, impacting the sound quality dramatically with impaired transient response, frequency response aberrations, increased distortion at the speaker terminals and reduced inter-channel separation. That's why we only use high-purity 99.999% Oxygen Free Copper (OFC).

Constructed in a "figure-8" assembly, the extra-large cross-sectional area of copper conductors ensures that the incredible performance levels are maintained even on longer cable runs. 

With this cable, high-end frequencies are presented with much more clarity, whilst bass response is more precise in detail.

Lastly, a cable's jacket is just as important. When developing a product, at CORE we always compare and test raw materials to find the best, no matter the cost. That's why we developed Ultra-Flex®, a composite material that is thick and strong to be protective whilst being very flexible and smooth with a glossy finish, allowing the cable to have a tight bend radius without any damage to the internal structure.
