Overview

A compact Infra-Red (IR) photoelectric beam set that can be used indoors or outdoors for perimeter protection.


Twin Beam with Automatic Gain Control

The sensor triggers when both beams are broken. The beam includes automatic gain control (AGC) to help compensate for signal loss caused by fog, snow, dust storms or heavy rain. This circuitry ensures that, even with 99% of signal loss, the beams will continue to function.


Selectable beam frequencies

The 4 selectable frequency channels can be used to avoid unwanted crosstalk that can occur when using multiple photoelectric beams installed nearby, in a perimeter or stacked on each other. 


Laser Alignment & Fine Adjustment

The built-in laser on the transmitter makes alignment even easier and more precise. Once the laser's red dot is centered on the receiver, the receiver's LEDs will turn off indicating alignment. For fine adjustment, using the voltage outputs on the receiver with a volt meter, you can measure the voltage and adjust the receiver's horizontal angle (by hand) and vertical angle (by screw) to get the highest voltage output.


Spherical Lens

An Infra-Red beam's reception level is severely lowered in heavy fog, snow, dust storms or rain and can often cause unwanted alarm activations. By using a high-quality spherical lens, this reinforces the beam's strength and precision to provide excellent immunity against these environmental conditions.


Beam Interruption Time

Adjustable Beam Interruption Time (ABIT) allows you to adjust the time of a beam breakage to trigger an alarm to reduce the chance of false alarms being caused by animals, birds, falling leaves or blowing debris.


Light Tolerance

The External Light Compensation (ELC) circuit provides excellent tolerance against sunlight, vehicle headlights, fluorescent light and mercury light.


Anti-Tamper

For extra piece of mind, there is an anti-tamper circuit which triggers if the power is cut or the beam's cover is removed.
