CORE POC BNC Balun, up to 8MP, 1-Pair

Used in pairs, the C-POC allows the transmission of real-time signals via Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) cable such as CAT5e and CAT6 instead of using coaxial cable.

Up to 4 POC Cameras over 1 Cable

Compatible with POC cameras and POC DVRs, only one pair of the UTP cable is required for a POC camera, therefore for a 4-pair UTP cable, you could connect up to 4 POC Baluns. Please note, pairs should not be doubled as may cause interference.

Up to 8MP & up to 300m

Compatible with TVI, CVI and AHD cameras up to 8MP for a distance up to 300m. Audio POC systems are also supported.

Install in any direction

There are baluns that have a transmitter and a receiver and can only be used in one direction (transmitter at the DVR; receiver at the camera). CORE's baluns can be used in any direction, avoiding any errors.

Flylead

The flexible BNC flylead allows an easier and faster connection to a DVR as well as fitting neatly inside a camera's base or junction box.

Secure Screw Terminals

For manufactures that use a push-button on the terminals instead of a screw, the UTP's wire is not fully secured and could come out when the cable is pulled or when a DVR is moved. CORE's passive baluns use screw terminals to ensure this doesn't happen giving peace-of-mind that the camera signal will not be lost.

Compact Housing with Slots

As space is limited behind DVRs, in camera brackets and in junction boxes, the housing is designed to be as small as possible, built around the components inside. For multiple baluns behind the DVR, the slot mechanism on the side of the baluns allow them to be neatly connected to each other for a clean finish.

Interference Filter

Interference rejection and low emissions allow signals to coexist in the same wire bundle as telephone, network or low-voltage power circuits. This allows the use of shared or existing cabling. Furthermore, crosstalk, EMI and RF noise immunity ensure high-quality signals.

Surge Protection

Built-in surge and lightning suppression protects equipment against damaging voltage spikes.
