Environment
We are committed to innovate products and features that increase energy efficiency, use fewer resources, ship with smaller packaging, be free of toxic substances, and meet or exceed global environmental standards.
Our green management policy constantly enhances a greener environment through all our business activities, including: product design, engineering, manufacturing and workplace operations.
Material use
Our designers and engineers are always trying to find ways to reduce material use in our products in order to reduce our carbon footprint, while still producing products high quality, high-end products. As technology advances and components/chipsets become more powerful with a smaller footprint, products can use less material and therefore generate fewer carbon emissions.
Furthermore, we have designed innovative packaging which allow for more units to be packed in a carton box and container without compromising the integrity and strength of the packaging to protect the product. This means less packaging and reduced transport, lowering our carbon emissions.
Toxic substance removal
Designing greener products means considering the environmental impact of the materials used to make them. We adhere to the RoHS directive which restricts the use of the following six substances: Lead, Mercury, Cadmium, Hexavalent Chromium, Polybrominated biphenyls and Polybrominated diphenyl ether.
Energy Efficiency
The majority of greenhouse gas emissions that we account for are produced when the product is plugged-in and being used. That’s why we design our products to be as energy efficient as possible. We design/develop both the software and the hardware, therefore we can make sure they work together to conserve power.
Our engineers have created revolutionary ways to lower your carbon footprint and reduce your energy bills. As an example, the TM-5402 HD has a mode to turn off many functions/features when in standby to reduce power consumption even further, beyond expectation.
